Catherine Agada Aniebonam, a career and business woman turned author graduated with a Bachelor's Degree (BA) in English from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria and a Masters Degree in Public Administration (MPA) from John Jay College, New York. She switched careers in the late 90's to join the technology industry and received the Oracle professional certification (OCP/DBA) in Database Administration. Cathy consults as a DBA and owns a training school (CTK Healthcare & Career Inst.) in Dallas, Texas where she lives with her family.
Despite her success in other fields, Catherine's passion remains in writing. She is the current author of two books, "Making It Work: Inspirations for Christian Marriage and Life" and "The Hidden Treasure Book". Her motivation for writing Making It Work comes from her desire to help others struggling in marriage from her own experiences and divine encounters. After struggling herself in a marriage that failed few years ago, Cathy was left discouraged and puzzled with unresolved issues and questions. In 2002, she had two encounters where she was awoken in the middle of the morning to receive answers to her puzzled questions and insights on how to love. On another occasion, Catherine had another encounter and experience that inspired her to write on living the abundance life found on part two of Making It Work: Inspirations for Christian Marriage and Life. From these encounters, her experiences and other people's shared experiences in marriage, Cathy was inspired to share her views and knowledge backed by the scriptures on how to discover the best in your self, your spouse and in your marriage.
Cathy was born into a family of eight children that have a close knitted relationship and much grounded in their Christian faith. She finds strengths and encouragement from her strong family background and support, prayer and faith in God.
Born August 4th, Cathy is described as jovial and outgoing, and exhibits good leadership qualities. Hobbies include traveling, reading, writing and volunteering. she is motivated by challenges, and her non-technical skills include decorations, events planning and coordination. She is currently the CEO of CTK Investment and Training, LLC, and managing partner with International Event Management Expo Group.
Her books, Making It Work and The Hidden Treasure Book is available in bookstores and online. .
